Are you based in Ireland?+
No. AI Makers works remote-first with Irish clients. Weekly demos land inside your working day, communication is async-first in between, and site visits to Dublin or Cork are scheduled per project. You work directly with the developer, no agency layer.
How does the time zone work?+
Comfortably. There is real overlap with the Irish working day, so demos and calls happen at normal hours, not 6 AM or 10 PM slots. Between calls, communication is written and async, which most Irish SMB teams prefer anyway.
Are you GDPR-compliant?+
Yes. I sign DPAs, document sub-processors, design with privacy by default, and never train models on your data without explicit written consent. Given the Data Protection Commission is based in Dublin, I document to the standard Irish businesses are held to.
How does the EU AI Act affect a project?+
Most business-AI use cases are minimal- or limited-risk. I classify yours during scope and apply the right controls: transparency notices, human-in-the-loop where mandated, training-data documentation. If your use case is high-risk, I tell you up front and scope accordingly.
