NextAutomation focuses exclusively on B2B companies with 10-100 employees and says so plainly — a rare thing in a market where everyone claims to serve everyone. They build workflow automation for sales, operations and reporting on an n8n-centric architecture, with project-based pricing and deployments they advertise as going live in about two weeks. The trade-off is scope: this is automation plumbing done fast, not bespoke AI product engineering.

10. LeewayHertz — enterprise-grade platforms, big bench

LeewayHertz, founded in 2007 with offices in the US and India and a 250+ person team, builds enterprise AI — strategy consulting, multi-agent systems, data engineering, and industry solutions for banking, retail, healthcare, insurance and logistics. Their client roster includes 30+ Fortune 500 companies (Siemens, 3M, P&G, Hershey’s). They’re on this list as the calibration point: this is what the top of the agency market looks like, and it’s the right choice when your project genuinely needs that machinery.

Best for: the upper end of the SMB range and beyond — complex, multi-system platform builds where bench depth and enterprise process matter more than speed or price.

How to actually choose between them

Four questions sort this list faster than any ranking:

• Who writes the code? If the person on the sales call never touches the build, you’re buying a process, not a builder. That’s fine at enterprise scale; it’s waste at SMB scale.
• Will they give you a fixed written quote? Time-and-materials shifts all the risk to you. Firms that scope first and fix the price (AI Makers, RTS Labs) are betting on their own estimate — that’s the incentive you want.
• What happens to the code at the end? You should own everything: code, prompts, integrations. Any license fee or platform dependency on the agency’s own product is future leverage against you. Read the IP clause before you compare prices.
