It helps to say which device you are using and what happened, but a one-line message is fine too.
Questions parents ask
How do you play?
A card at the top of the screen shows one fish — a colour and a pattern. Your child drops the fishing hook into the pond, steers it to that exact fish, waits for it to come close, then flicks upward to swing it into the bucket. Ten fish fill the bucket and the level goes up. Big Red, a giant goofy fish, is hunting the same fish, so there is a friendly race on. Nothing is lost if he gets there first, and there is no way to fail.
Does my child need to read?
No. The target is always a picture, and every control is touch. It is built for children of around eight, and younger children manage it too.
Is it really ad-free and offline?
Yes. There are no ads, no tracking, no analytics, no accounts and no sign-in. The game makes no network calls at all, so it works on a plane, in the car, or with the wifi off.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Fun Fish is free, forever — the whole game, every level, with nothing held back. There are no in-app purchases and no subscription, so there is nothing to buy now and nothing to buy later.
How do I turn the sound off?
Grown-ups screen, then the Sounds toggle. The setting sticks between sessions.
What is the parental gate?
A subtraction problem a young child cannot solve, with a fresh number every time. It sits in front of the privacy policy link — the only thing in the app that leads anywhere a grown-up should decide on.
Does it collect any data about my child?
No. Nothing is collected, and nothing leaves the device. The only things saved are the current level, the number of fish caught, and whether sound is on. Full details are in the privacy policy.
